Our 4-day trip from Fez to Marrakech via the Sahara Desert begins at 8:00 a.m. We go through the Middle Atlas Mountains and cedar trees on our way to Midelt. We pass Ifrane, which is also known as “Little Switzerland” due to its cleanliness, European architecture, and climate. then to Azrou, a significant center for handicrafts that specializes in cedar woodworking. For lunch, we travel to Midelt, the apple capital of the world. We will travel to Erfoud and the desert in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight accommodations in a motel near the Erg Chebbi Sahara Dunes.

Day 2 :Merzouga - Erg Chebbi Dunes - tour around ( Erg chebbi desert)

After breakfast, we travel to Khamlia hamlet to listen to live Gnawa music. We then travel on an unpaved route to tour the sand dunes and stop for tea with nomads in berber tents. From there, we also have a berber pizza for lunch. Back at the hotel to unwind before beginning your camel ride across the dunes to view the sunset. Once you get to the camp, enjoy a mint tea and the stunning Saharan sunset before being shown to your lovely tents with private bathrooms and showers while dinner is being made. Day 3 :Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Ouarzazate

Get up early to witness the magnificent sunrise, when the dunes’ color and the interaction of shadows make for an amazing spectacle. arriving at the hotel/riad to take a shower and have breakfast. We will go on to Ouarzazate through Rissani and stop in Erfoud, which is well-known for its petrified marbles. Here, you can tour the factory that creates marble fossils. Continue on to the Todra Gorges, a great location for solo exploration and walking. After eating lunch, travel through Roses, Kelaa Mgouna. After crossing the Skoura palm grove on the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, we carry on till we reach Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where we check into the hotel/riad.

Day 4:Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

We travel to At Benhaddou, a “fortified city” that once stood along the path taken by caravans to travel from the Sahara to Marrakech. It is located on a hillside near the Ouarzazate River and features some exquisite kasbah specimens, some of which are still inhabited. The location, which was given UNESCO World Heritage status, served as the backdrop for many movies, including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. We first pause for lunch before continuing across the tall Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.
